Turkish Deputy Premier meets Azeri former ambassador

Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arenc has met Azerbaijan`s former ambassador to the country Zakir Hashimov on completion of his diplomatic mission.

Bulent Arenc said Azerbaijan and Turkey were "one nation, two states".

He said thanks to the efforts of President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, relations between the two countries had strengthened.

He hailed political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Ar?nc said his country always supports Azerbaijan on the issue.

Zakir Hashimov, in turn, thanked the Turkish government for the conditions created for Azerbaijan`s diplomatic representations in the country.
