Russia-United States relations were discussed during the sitting headed by Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. It was noted that despite ‘reset', debatable issues still exist between Russia and USA.

List of the disputable issues looks like this: Georgia, NATO problematic, anti-missile shield plans, insufficiently developed relations in the fields of energy, economics and trade.
Russia-US new relations are positively assessed in the statement and plans necessary for deepening relations between the states are also discussed.

The Georgian experts claim that Russia is forced to admit that it did not succeed in reaching the target regarding Georgia and that the scheme that aimed at Georgia's international isolation foiled.
