Mikhail Machavariani, Parliamentary Spokesperson commented about the decision of CoE Foreign Ministers about prolongation of EUMM in Georgia for one year. He believes that CoE is an international body which will not allow Russian Federation excessive actions on the occupied territories of Georgia.

"It is very good that EUMM will remain in Georgia after Russian Federation managed to block OSCE and UN missions." We remind you that CoE approved the decision about prolongation of EUMM till 2011 September 14. The information on the official web page of the organization reads that the EUMM will provide the fulfillment of the agreement, with the subsequent spread of it over the whole territory of Georgia.
