A danger exists that Russian Federation may conduct a military operation against militants in Pankisi valley. This estimation was given by Mamuka Areshidze in conversation with GHN concerning RF MIA representative declaration about existence of military camps in Georgia. "At this stage there is no danger of any initiation of military operation in direction of Pankisi valley, but there is a serious danger that Russian Federation is preparing for this. It is to be noted that when Kremlin talks about the militaristic camps in Georgia it never indicates the exact geographical location, this is a pert of black PR against our country," - Areshidze said to GHN. This is aimed to blacken Georgia's reputation before international community. Areshidze believes that Kremlin is trying to assure international community that Georgia is a country were criminals can find a save heaven.

We remind you that NokolaI Simakov, Deputy Head of Ministry of Internal Affairs of RF in North Caucasus federal circuit declared that RF's MIA own an information about creation in Georgia of special camps for preparation of militants. Commenting the last terrorist acts in North Caucasus he said in interview with newspaper "Vremia Novostey", that for the last period of time, militants noticeably activated in Georgia. "In this militaristic camps former criminals from Caucasian Republics, and those who are hiding from criminal persecution in EU countries are gathered, "- He said.
