The Georgian side will raise the issues of security of Georgian locals residing across the occupied territories and unconditional return of IDPs to their homes. The Georgian delegation members left for Switzerland late last night.

The Russian Federation's Foreign Ministry released an official statement in that regard. The Ministry reports that the main purpose during the talks would be adoption of a document on non-resumption of fire, incidents prevention mechanisms and restoration of trust between the confronted sides.

The Russian side will also focus attention on humanitarian situation in invaded territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
