Georgian President: negotiations on elections environment improvement should start without ultimatums

Georgian President believes the negotiations with the opposition about the improvement of elections environment should start without any preconditions and ultimatums. Manana Manjgaladze, President's Press Spokeswomen said today during the briefing.

"President welcomes the negotiations on improvement of the elections environment that will be conducted in the nearest future in Parliament. He supports this idea but believes that the negotiations should start without any preconditions and ultimatums, "- Manjgaladze said.

President said this will be a step forward for the Georgian democracy development. The Parliamentary majority agreed to the suggestion of the opposition initiative to start negotiations on improvement of the elections environment.
