Hammerberg to arrive to Georgia

Today on February 26 Thomas Hammerberg, CoE High Commissioner for Human Rights arrived to Georgia. Hammerberg plans to arrive to Tskhinvali region. According to the information of Boris Chochiev, Post Conflict Regulation official in secessionist S.O, the aim of the visit is a lost people in South Ossetia.

Chochiev said that international lawyers will be involved in the case for finding of S.O. citizens, by the decision of Thomas Hammerberg. This will happen in case if the Georgian side will not release S.O. citizens and will not give an information abut them who according to Georgian side are declared as a "lost people", Chochiev noted.
