The "Oil Importers Union" summarizes the past year. Vano Mtvraliashvili chair of the Union said that the year was very important in terms of big investments. The Georgian market two big players entered. At the Gori pipe-line two multifunctional terminals were constructed.

‘First of all should be noted the construction of the multifunctional terminals by Sokar and Vissol. Its design and infrastructure is no lesser than any European ones. Alongside with this the modern petrol stations were constructed which are up to the highest European standards (in terms of the environmental standards, precision of service, hygienic standards).

He said that the quality of the oil and petrol will be considerably improved for the next year.

He as well underlined that for this moment in Georgia there does not exist smuggling in the oil and gas products, and this is thanks to the good work of the executive government.
