Russian-British relations have a prosperous future; however they need to be corrected. Such declarations were made by Dmitri Medvediev after his meeting with David Cameroon, UK Prime Minister.

"We reviewed bilateral relations and agreed that they are to be corrected," - Medvediev said. "Our Foreign Ministers are obliged to be in constant contact and to review our relationships on agenda." He said relations between two countries needs constant attention in area of "economic and as well in many other areas." Medvediev wished to David Cameroon a successful career. Cameroon expressed his willingness to cooperate in a wide range of issues. "We are ready to cooperate in areas were our view points coincided and under the questions were we disagree," - David Cameroon said.
It is to be noted that the relations between two countries were strained because of "Litvinenko" case in 2007 and in addition with the August 2008 war in Georgia, and negative estimation of UK for Russia's actions.
The official London still condemns the aggression committed against Georgia and calls Russian Federation to fulfill unconditionally 2008 agreement.
