The representatives of the Tbilisi City Assembly arrived in the Dusheti district of the Mtskheta Mtianeti Region after the city of Khashuri and delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of the disaster zone together with the director of the hypermarket Goodwill. They visited the most affected villages of the region, met with the locals of the village Chartala and presented them with food products, clothes and shoes.
Disaster inflicted serious damage onto the five villages of the district. Though most of them are isolated from the rest of the region after the river swept away bridges, the assembly authorities said fifty families will receive humanitarian aid anyway.
