An ancient burial ground valley dating back to 2-3 centuries BC was discovered in Tmogvi village, Aspindza district of Samtskhe-Javakheti region.
About 200 tombs were found beneath. Scientists do not rule out finding of other important artifacts.
Archaeologists will begin further study of the site with modern equipment in several weeks.
