Nika Vacheishvili, head of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Protection and the representative of the Agency returned to Georgia from St. Petersburg, where they took part at the UNESCO 36 session.
Bagrati temple located in Georgia's Imereti region will remain in the payroll of world cultural heritage of UNESCO till 2013. The discussions over the issue have been postponed.
Nikoloz Rurua, Georgia's Minister of Culture and Monuments Protection says that a special group of experts will once again study the carried out works at Bagrati, and will notify UNESCO about the results.
The project elaborated by Andrea Bruno, Italian architect related to western space of the temple will be agreed with the Georgian Patriarchate.
