Alexander Vershbow, NATO Deputy Secretary General arrived in Georgia late last night.
Within the framework of the visit Vershbow will take part at the conference of defance and security in Batumi and hold several meetings with the representatives of the Georgian government and civil groups.
At the meetings the sides will discuss cooperation and Georgia's participation in ISAF (International Security Assistance Forces) operation.
The visit of NATO Deputy Secretary General will last till July 29.
