Director General and the chairperson of the supervisory board of the Kartu Bank, Nodar Javakhishvili calls on the government to cancel the public auction, which intends to sell 100% of the shares of Kartu Group, which includes all shares of the Kartu Bank.
`We call on the government to return in the legislative frames of our country and cancel the expropriation of the property of foreign citizens, cancel the auction and give a possibility to its founders to carry out property holding and management rights,` Nodar Javakhishvili said a the briefing today.
Kartu Group shares were brought for sale by auction after Ivanishvili refused to pay the fine imposed against the company for alleged vote-buying.
