The National-Democratic Party (NDP) proposes financing of fruits businesses through a budgetary program.
Guram Chakhvadze, one of the leaders of NDP wants that gardeners received 1 GEL bonus of compensation from the government for each sold kilogram of fruits.
Chakhvadze says that this will reimburse the loss generated due to current law prices at the local market. He also claimed that such an approach will make agriculture revenues stable, while local products more competitive than those imported.
