After announced the date of parliamentary elections Georgian Central Election Commission has started working in emergency regime.
Parliamentary elections will be held on October 1, 2012.
The election district commissions will be staffed in 73 election districts.
The commissions will be consists of 13 members, 6 of them will be selected from political parties and 6 will be professional members. A total of 48 000 people will be employed in the polling stations, district commissions and CEC.
According to the Central Election Commission, trainings had been held at the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) for the commission members. The representatives of media, NGOs and lawyers of various political parties had already passed the special training courses.
