About 30 international organizations will monitor the 2012 parliamentary elections in Georgia to be held on October 1.
Representatives of some organizations have already arrived in Georgia and are observing the pre-election campaigning process.
Georgia’s Foreign Ministry sent invitations to observation missions 7 months ahead of the elections.
The US International Republican Institute (IRI) will also monitor the polls. The 12-member group of IRI arrived in Georgia on June 18. Other 26 observers are scheduled to arrive on October 1.
