The sitting of Adjara Autonomous Republic’s Supreme Election Commission will be held today. The commission will approve schedule of the 2012 Adjara Supreme Council’s elections.
The elections will be held in parallel with the parliamentary polls on October 1. Locals of Adjara region will receive 4 bulletins.
Twenty one deputies of Supreme Council will be elected instead of 18. The 6 MP will be Majoritarians (single mandate), 15 – with proportional (party list) rule.
