The memory week in commemoration of soldiers who died during the August 2008 Georgian-Russian war continues in Georgia. Georgia marks a four-year anniversary of Russian-Georgian war 2008, when Russia implemented a large-scale military aggression against Georgia. The badge of poppy is a symbol of the Week of Memory. The representatives of different professions are joining the poppy’s action. The memory week continues in the regions of Georgia. Under the initiative of media-holding Prime Times the show of the movie by Renny Harlin “5 Days of August” was held in Bolnisi districts. The family members of the victims of the August war were attended the event. The soldiers who died during the August War were commemorated in Shindisi village of Gori district as well. Samegrelo region also marks tribute week. Silent actions were held in Senaki and Zugdidi towns.
