Georgian national Sandro Grigolia will be tried today - The Hague Court has begun the discussion of the murder case. 19 year-old Grigolia will be tried by the local judiciary because he is not the citizen of Georgia.
Grigolia, who was wanted by Dutch and Georgian police for the murder and robbery committed in Holland in April 2012, was arrested in Tbilisi in May. He decided to surrender to the police and plead guilty after he was identified by the Dutch police.
Grigolia is the citizen of Netherlands. Grigolia and his accomplice were arrested for armed assault on a jewelry shop, where the shot dead the salesman. The 47 year-old man died with the injuries before being transferred to hospital.
