For the first time this year, textbooks will be sold at 400 schools across Georgia starting today. The highest price per book will be 10 GEL.
They will be available at book-stores and other trade centers. Pupils will have the opportunity to buy books through Georgian Post electronically. They will receive books within 24-hours in Tbilisi and 48-hours in regions. Selling of books will continue till October 8.
Georgia's Ministry of Education and Science informs that the socially vulnerable pupils, those affected by the 2008 Georgian-Russian war and kids of families with more than 3 children will receive textbooks free of charge.
