Construction of "Batumi Pier" will be completed in July 2013 and will offer western-style services to tourists. The complex located on the coast of Batumi boulevard central part includes a restaurant with traditional dishes, a pizzeria, a bar, children's entertainment center, a paid beach, clothes and shoe shops.
According to the company's CEO Mindia Gurgenidze, due to the beginning of the season, the construction was halted, however, several objects, including a pizzeria, were opened. Within the project the 35-meter-long bridge intruded into the sea was built.
Gurgenidze notes that next season the bridge length, at the end of which a two-story hotel will be built, will be increased to 75 meters. "Batumi Pier" complex is situated on 7 900 square meters. A foreign investor intends to invest 4 million GEL in this project. In total 2 million GEL have been already invested in the construction as well as 72 people were employed.
