Registration of Georgian citizens currently being and living in Georgia for the forthcoming parliamentary elections of October 1 in Georgia is over.
The data will be sent to the Commission working on verification of voters' lists and then to the Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC).
Forty-five polling stations will be opened in different countries for Georgian citizens to vote. Polling stations will be abolished in Iran and Jordan due to small number of citizens. A total of 42,600 people have the right to vote as registered at consulates.
