Four NATO soldiers were killed in Afghanistan's southern Zabol province on Sunday, in an attack believed to involve members of the Afghan national police.
This attack follows Friday's attack on Camp Bastion in neighbouring Helmand province, in which two American marines were killed and an incident on Saturday where two British soldiers were shot dead by an Afghan policeman while returning from a patrol.
At least 51 foreign military personnel have been killed in ‘insider' attacks this year, and this sudden rise in such activity has resulted in the suspension of training for new recruits to the Afghan army and police.
