The patrol police will leave the penitentiary system today.
Giorgi Tughushi, Georgia's Minister of Penitentiary, Corrections and Legal Assistance made a statement in this regard.
He said the system is under the full control and the units of the Interior Ministry are no longer a need for prisons.
Minister said that some of the prisoners are on hunger strike in prisons, they went on hunger strike to express solidarity to the tortured prisoners.
Tughushi says none of the perpetrator employees will works in the penitentiary system.
