The Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili held meeting with Giorgi Tughushi, the new minister of Penitentiary, Probation and Legal Assistance. Tughushi provided the president with the information about current situation in prisons.
Tughushi says that the situation is calm in all facilities for the time being and several novelties are planned to be implemented in the penitential system.
Tughushi says that new employees of the system will be selected on a competitive basis.
