Leader of the Georgian Dream coalition Bidzina Ivanishvili went to the N4 polling station together with his wife Ekaterine Tskhvedelidze today. Ivanishvili refused to use his constitutional right to vote and only accompanied his wife at these elections. Ivanishvili made definitions regarding his decision.
`For the first time in the history of Georgia, its people is making a choice, which is very close to a democratic election, close, because the government had already carried out numerous violations, there were facts of violence until the day of vote. The government altered the constitution thousand times to fit it to its own interests. The incident tied with my Georgian citizenship, when constitution was also deteriorated and the state was deprived its functions, has become the reason of my decision not to vote. I have come to politics not for a chair, but I have come here to restore justice. I do not intend to use such a constitution today,` Ivanishvili said.
