Foreign journalists from different countries of the world were covering the 2012 parliamentary elections held on October 1 in Georgia. The majority of them had been working in Georgia for already one week.
Representatives of international mass media were present at polling stations; they attended news briefings of the Central Election Commission (CEC) and made live transmissions.
Foreign journalists claimed that the Georgian elections were very interesting.
