Israel extends its congratulations to the government and people of Georgia upon the free and democratic electoral process which took place recently and was lauded by OSCE observers.
Israel wishes to commend President Mikheil Saaskashvili for his outstanding contribution to democracy in Georgia, and also to congratulate Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili, leader of the Georgian Dream coalition, on his party's success in the ballot.
Israel expresses its desire to strengthen the excellent bilateral cooperation both countries and peoples.
