Nodar Demetrashvili, 53, was wounded with a hunting gun in Vakiri village, Sighnaghi district of Kakheti region.
Demetrashvili has the wound in his chest area. Relatives said that the man had a verbal clash with his neighbour.
Demetrashvili was taken to Sighnaghi regional hospital. The patient's health condition is out of life-threatening.
Investigation is opened into the criminal case. Sighnaghi regional police department is probing into the matter.
