The 2012 parliamentary elections in Georgia were talked about during the meeting of Atlantic Council on October 9.
Thomas O. Melia, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor and Kenneth Wollack, President of the National-Democratic Institute (NDI) attended the meeting.
The first precedence of handing over the authorities in Georgia democratically was also discussed. The US specialists considered the necessity of political cooperation between the sides.
Perspectives of Georgia's integration into the North-Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and 2014 NATO summit were also discussed.
