Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole will be available to play for England against San Marino on Friday after apologising to English Football Association chairman David Bernstein for a Twitter insult he aimed at the governing body last week.
The former Gunner used his Twitter account to respond to the publication of an FA panel's report into the John Terry racism verdict, which questioned the evidence Cole gave in defending his team-mate.
Despite his apology, national team coach Roy Hodgson may decide to rest Cole for the San Marino game to make sure he is fully fit for next week's clash with Poland in Warsaw.
