CEC publishing preliminary results of re-run elections
The Georgian Central Election Commission (CEC) published preliminary results of the re-run of 2012 parliamentary elections.
The elections were held at 11 election precincts of Sighnaghi, Gori and Khashuri.
According to the preliminary results the candidates of Georgian Dream are leading:
Signaghi - Gela Gelashvili (Georgian Dream) - 49.01 %;
Gori - Malkhaz Vakhtangishvili (Georgian Dream) - 47.43%;
Khashuri - Valeri Gelashvili (Georgian Dream) - 57.75.
The Central Election Commission (CEC) appointed the re run elections at 11 election precincts. CEC made this decision after declaration of election results as null and void at several precincts.
