Transparency International - Georgia has published a special statement regarding the controversy around the candidate for the minister of energy, Kakha Kaladze, who is suspected of facing the conflict of interests as the political figure and the owner of a business company. Kaladze`s Kala Capital LTD has 45% of shares in Sakhydroenergomshesni Company, which conducts energy projects and repair and rehabilitation works on power plants. The NGO calls on the parliament to discuss the issue in time, before the new cabinet is formed.
