The family of the fugitive governor of the Kodori Gorge of Georgia, Emzar Kvitsiani has returned to Georgia after six years since departure. Kvitsiani`s wife Tetnuld Ansiani says that they are expecting re-investigation of Kvitsiani`s case after the change of the government.
Former governor was charged with formation of illegal armed groups and attempt to arrange state revolt.
Sister of the former governor is also under arrest. Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said Nora Kvitsiani was serving her sentence under the unfair ruling of the unfair court, for the mistakes made by her brother. She said Nora Kvitsiani`s case might be reviewed for procedural bargain; as for former governor, Tsulukiani said the case of Emzar Kvitsiani could be also reviewed if he arrived in Georgia and answer the questions tied with the case.
