Minister of Defence of Georgia Irakli Alasania will present a new Chief of the Joint Staff. The briefing will be held today.
Media reports that Vakhtang Kapanadze will assume this post.
Kapanadze was participant of Abkhazian War; he served as brigade commander and chief of Joint Staff as well.
The chief of the joint staff Giorgi Kalandadze has already resigned.
