On November 6-7 U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women's Issues Melanne Verveer will visit Georgia. Amabssador Verveer will meet with government officials and civil society activists to discuss the major challenges facing women in the Caucasus and how the United States can help to support women's empowerment throughout these countries. She will also meet with women leaders active in peace efforts in the region.
