Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili spoke about the reduction of the president`s reserve funds today. Prime Minister says the funds were misappropriated unreasonably and the decision to reduce these funds was not political.
`You should see how many palaces the president has, how much money has been spent on them and you will be believe that politics has nothing to do with this decision. Today we have very many poor citizens and refugees in the country and the budget funds should be spent on them. That`s why the funding of the IDP programs has been increased and the president`s reserve funds were cut for unreasonable expenditures,` Bidzina Ivanishvili said.
President`s reserve funds in the 2013 state budget were reduced from 50 to 10 million GEL.
Prime Minister was also asked a question about the growth for funding of the patriarch`s administration. Ivanishvili said the government would not interfere in the appropriation of patriarchate`s funds any longer.
