Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili has downplayed the concerns of opponents, who fear the detention of senior military authorities would affect Georgia`s positions prior to the NATO Summit. Irakli Gharibashvili says such speculations are only a part of propaganda, asserting the guilty should be punished.
`I think tat this is a part of propaganda. I understand that a very important figure has been arrested. I don`t want to breach the presumption of innocence. Let`s wait for the investigation, which has to decide if these persons are guilty or not,` minister said.
