President of Georgia plans to hold meeting with the NATO Secretary General, Anders Fogh Rasmussen within the visit to Prague, which is hosting the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Georgia is represented at the assembly with the status of the aspirant state along with Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Mikheil Saakashvili is expected to deliver the speech before the MPs from the NATO member states. Bilateral meetings are also on the agenda. President has already met with American Congressmen together with the delegation of Georgian government and discussed the prospects and the process of Georgia`s integration into European structures. Saakashvili reported the post-election situation in Georgia to the America lawmakers.
The NATO Parliamentary Assembly will elect a new president. The 58th session of the assembly will be closed today.
