Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II blessed members of "FUNKIDS" Group, which will represent Georgia at the upcoming 2012 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, this afternoon.
The Patriarchate hosted members of the group before Ilia II's departure to Czech Republic. Patriarch wished success to the children.
The 2012 JESC will be held on December 1 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. "FUNKIDS" will perform the song "Funky Lemonade" by Giga Kukhianidze.
Georgia will participate in JESC for already the sixth time this year. JESC proved successful for the Georgian Public Broadcaster; Georgia won the contest twice in 2008 and in 2011.
