Two complaints will be submitted later today to the Appeals Court regarding abolishment of verdict made by Tbilisi City Court into cases of Shota Khizanishvili, deputy Tbilisi Mayor and deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA) and Vazha Liluashvili, deputy head of Constitutional Security Department (CSD) of MIA.
Lawyers of Khizanishvili and Liluashvili claim that they demand replacement of imprisonment by another form of punishment.
Khizanishvili is accused under Articles 333 and 158, abuse of authority and illegal access, usage and spread of information by technical means.
Liluashvili is accused under charges of Articles 333, 158, 284 and 285.
