Resonance Newspaper has reported that the minister of health and social care of Georgia, Davit Sergienko has resigned. The newspaper relies on two different sources of information, saying Sergienko has left his position, but the ruling party Georgian Dream abstains from announcing the fact until the new candidate is selected.
According to the article, Sergienko considers it unfeasible to fulfill the social part of GD`s election program in current situation and that`s why he resigned.
The PR department of the ministry has denied the report saying the minister is fulfilling his duties.
