Member of the parliamentary minority, Akaki Minashvili has been summoned to the office of the Chief Prosecutor with the status of witness in the case of Tengiz Gunava - former chief of the general inspection of the ministry of interior.
Gunava was arrested on November 15 and was charged with illegal carrying of arms and drug addiction, though, Gunava submitted a complaint at the prosecutor`s office demanding detailed investigation of his detention, as he asserts the officers put the gun in his clothes and forced him to drink water with drugs, which afterwards showed in tests that he was under the influence of narcotics. Gunava was bailed out and yesterday he was also summoned to the prosecutor`s office for interrogation.
