Former minister of interior, secretary general of the United National Movement Vano Merabishvili says the allegations voiced against him these days were rather vague, thought, despite the lack of clarity in these accusations, Merabishvili does not rule out to be detained along with other former law enforcers soon. Merabishvili says he will cooperate with prosecutor`s office in any case.
`I have not been summoned [to prosecutor`s office] yet, but of course, I will cooperate with the investigation. Out team is the one, which will give answers to any questions in the frames of acting legislation. I never rule out anything, but this situation will by no means change my approach, activities and plans,` Merabishvili told Rustavi2.
According to the Ministry of Interior, Merabishvili misused his duties by formally dismissing two former senior officers of the ministry Data Akhalaia and Vasil Sanodze, who continued to fulfill their duties furthermore.
