Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy has arrived in Tbilisi, today.
Ashton has already held a meeting with the Pime Minister of Georgia Bidzina Ivanishvili.
Catherine Ashton is scheduled to meet with Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili and she will hold meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well.
Georgian politicians are positively assessing Catherine Ashton's visit to Georgia. They say that this visit is yet another proof that the EU is seriously interested in Georgia.
