On November 21, Roberto Zuccato, chairman-designate of the confederation manufacturers of the Veneto region (Italy), met with Dimitri Kumsishvili, First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
The Ambassador of Italy to Georgia Federica Favi attended the meeting to underline the growing interest of Italian companies to do business in Georgia. A future visit to Georgia of companies from Veneto was also discussed, as well as the most promising sectors where to achieve joint ventures between Italian and Georgian businessmen.
Situated in Italy's northeast, Veneto is renowned for the high industrial productivity of its numerous small and medium-sized enterprises. It was agreed that the Veneto experience can be beneficial to Georgian enterprises.
The meeting took place at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia.
