Firefighters have gone on strike in Gori town of Shida Kartli region of Georgia.
The firefighters demand an increase in salary and health insurance; they are holding a demonstration in front of the city administration. They put fire-fighting vehicles in the city center.
So far nobody from the local authorities has met with the firefighters, but reports say Gori Municipality Governor David Khmiadashvili is going to meet them.
