Officers of Investigation Department of Finance Ministry are checking 8 services of Tbilisi City Hall.

The financial checking at Cleaning Service launched on November 27, continued till late last night. The audit has resumed this morning. The financial documentation is being revised.

Aside Cleaning Service, the Finance Ministry is checking Tbilisi City Hall's Administration, Welfare Service, Purchasing Department, Architectural Service, Rehabilitation and Development Fund of Old Tbilisi, Tbilisi Development Fund and "TbilService Group" LTD.

Georgia's Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri commented on the process. He said the financial checking was in no way connected to political purposes but was carried out in an aim to find out how municipality services were allocating the budget and how the money was spent.
