Four persons have been detained in suspicion of the armed assault which occurred in the village of Abano, Kareli district, on Sunday - ministry of internal affairs of Georgia has reported following the armed assault on two locals, which luckily, ended with no casualties.
Georgian side has already reported all international observer organizations regarding the incident. According to MIA, the situation is normal after eradicating the incident. Head of the MIA PR department Nino Giorgobiani has commented on Sunday`s armed assault in the vicinities of the boundaries of the occupied Tskhinvali Region.
`Situation is calm in the conflict zone currently; minister has visited the Shida Kartli Region`s all police stations and check-points. As for the fact itself, it was eradicated promptly and the four persons were arrested by the Ossetian side soon after the assault,` Giorgobiani said.
